Our “Supreme” graded Monkey Pick Tie Guan Yin is definitely more complex in both the aroma and body, making the legend of the monkey picked tea leaves come to life! Created by using a high quality Tie Guan Yin Iron Goddess cultivar, the aroma is very fragrant, toasty, followed with a much more complex fruit-like body and lingering mildly sweet and toasty aftertaste.

If I could keep only one tea, it would be this one. It’s a wonderful fusion of opposites: roasty and medium bodied but still floral and delicate; it has some of the grassiness of green tea and some of the fruity mild astringency of black tea, but it is another animal entirely. I enjoy it brewed gongfu style, western style, and even chilled.

I moved out of SF years ago but I still come back to Aroma specifically for this tea.
